Founder / Lead Therapist
Steve is the founder and lead therapist of SJ Sports Therapy. Available between York & Leeds, weekdays and evenings.
He is typically seen for musculoskeletal injuries, sport specific and performance based areas such as running related and team sports injuries, as well as general pathologies.
Since graduating in 2014, Steve established skills and relationships across the industry that has led to delivering a successful evidence based quality of practice scheme in which we as the companies therapist's continually review, with in-house CPD sessions along with my work peers.
Along with work at the clinic, he has been involved in teaching amongst level 5 & 6 University students within the industry which has offered a refreshing insight to the thinking and make up of modern Sports Therapy.
Dan qualified as a Physiotherapist in 2016 and specialises in musculoskeletal problems. In addition, he has further qualifications in personal training and nutrition.
He has previously worked in both professional football and rugby league and carries a proven track record in treating a wide range of people within the general population. He demonstrates great experience and understanding of musculoskeletal cases and can offer clear and concise management solutions to his clients using a combination of hands on techniques, exercise and lifestyle advice.
Dan is registered with the HCPC (Health Care Professions Council) and a member of the CSP (Chartered Society of Physiotherapy).
Dan will be recognised by most private healthcare or insurance plans, allowing you to claim for treatment.
